Life Science Business Analyst


The Business Analyst function a crucial role in our organization as they are responsible for defining what our clients need. We have a client first culture and mindset at H1.



H1 is the first company to arm healthcare organizations with live data insights to help fight diseases. DaVinci is H1’s new strategy as a service offering for healthcare and life science companies. This role will be focused on client engagements in market research, competitive intelligence, opportunity identification, and other custom research.

Experience and Skills

Science-related degree or experience with drug development process and corporate strategy

  • Ability to digest data from multiple areas (preclinical, clinical, regulatory, commercial) and synthesize strategic insights

  • Familiarity with major scholarly and clinical databases

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills

Additional data and technology experience is a plus (SQL, Python, Spark, etc.)

Past analysts have come from a variety of backgrounds. Here are a few examples of profiles we think could be great:

  • A life science consultant or business development professional interested in getting more hands-on with technology and data

  • A current graduate student looking to continue building industry experience

  • A recent science grad with strong organizational skills and hungry to learn

Responsibilities Include

  • Managing data curation efforts

  • Conducting research and data analysis

  • Developing strategic insights

  • Packaging work into client deliverables

  • Crafting business development and sales materials

  • Communicating with H1 partners and clients

This is a part-time role with flexible hours based in NYC or Seattle. Remote considered for exceptional candidates.
